Electricity and Gas

In regions where there is no choice of elec/gas provider (WA, NT, TAS & Nth Qld) Fast Connect have electronic lodgement arrangements with those suppliers on the approved state goverment standard tariff.

In NSW, Vic, SA & SE Qld customers should be aware they may be free to negotiate supply arrangements with a number of suppliers as well as having access to a state goverment approved standard supply arrangement. Customers should also be aware that energy costs are influenced by the following factors:

  1. Location
  2. Building energy efficiency
  3. Type of metering (peak & off-peak)
  4. Useage pattern and
  5. Time of year

Fast Connect believe that researching the best energy market offering is best done by assessing the above factors, usually after occupancy and having received energy bills.

While Fast Connect can arrange connections of elec/gas with most major providers a preferred provider relationship exists with AGL in all market contestable regions to ensure customers first occupying their new home receive the following benefits:

  1. Pricing at the equivalant of the current standard state goverment approved tariff.
  2. No fixed term or supply lock in arrangements.
  3. No exit or early termination fees.
  4. No security bond to Fast Connect customers.

Telephone, Broadband and Pay-TV

Fast Connect can arrange new and the transfer of existing Telstra fixed line phones, BigPond broadband (ADSL, Cable & Wireless) and Foxtel TV through Telstra. All the latest Telstra bundles are available through Fast Connect.

Water

Where water accounts are required for tennants (Vic and NT) these can be arranged through Fast Connect.
There is no choice of supplier for Water in Australia.

Disconnections

Fast Connect can arrange energy disconnections/account closure with most major energy providers throughout Australia.

Telephone, Broadband and Pay-TV

Disconnections of existing Telstra fixed line phones, BigPond broadband (ADSL, Cable & Wireless) and Foxtel TV through Telstra can be arranged through Fast Connect.

Water

Where required for tennants (Vic and NT) all water account closures can be arranged through Fast Connect.
